The W.I.N. Method of
Leadership is
a set of twelve strategies that teach leaders how to build trust
and influence people by being present and non-judgmental. This method
is being used by business leaders too, for men and women who want to
influence people to perform at peak levels at work. These same
principles work at home too...
The
WIN Method of Leadership
is anchored in two core truths:
The only time you can actually act:
NOW
The only person you actually control:
YOU
The
primary goal of W.I.N.
Method is
to empower leaders to control how they respond "in the moment" to
leadership challenges. W.I.N. shifts leaders from unconsciously
responding out of habit ("triggered") to responding intentionally in new
ways that build trust and influence. W.I.N. provides proven
strategies & techniques (doorways and tools) to become non-judgmental about
the situation and then to apply
The WIN Principle of Support or Resist.
The result is a leader who
knows "what's important now" to build trust and influence that leads to real
and willing changes from the people this man loves and leads.
-
The W.I.N. Method is based on 12 strategies called Doorways...
- these doorways give clients
the tools to become continuous self-learners about themselves.
Each doorway has a number of techniques
that are practical tools to
influence performance and results.
- The 12 Doorways of the WIN
Method were developed by John
Kuypers over a six year period.
- The
first six principles are contained in John Kuypers' book, What's Important
Now
- Chapters 2, 4,and 6 teach
leaders how to be more SUPPORTIVE instead of pressuring, and when to do
so.
- Chapters 1, 3 and 5 teach
leaders how to RESIST more effectively, instead of caving in, and when
to do so.
- Coaching
is the optimal way to harvest the benefits of The W.I.N. Method of
Leadership...
- Men learn how to "notice the
moment." Like repairing a
hole in the wall hidden behind a couch, leaders can only
self-improve if they can see the problem.
- Once noticed and accepted as
real, clients learn to apply one or more of the 12 Doorways of the WIN
Method
- The W.I.N. Method provides
the foundation to a lifetime of continuous learning as a leader and as a
person.
